This week, Attacca Quartet returns to Europe for the first time this season for two concerts in Paris and Barcelona. On 15 April, the quartet performs their French debut at Théâtre de la Ville’s Théâtre des Abbesses, presenting an all-American programme of Philip Glass, Paul Wiancko, Caroline Shaw and John Adams.
On 17 April, they travel to Barcelona for a concert at the Palau de La Música Catalana, for a concert that features Glass, Haydn, Shaw, and Ravel. On 4 May, the quartet will also perform at London’s King’s Place and as part of Amsterdam String Quartet Biennale’s Fifty for Future Weekend on 6 – 7 May, as well as in Gran Canaria on 9 May and Bilbao on 11 May.
