Craig Stuart Garfinkle

Craig Stuart Garfinkle is an award-winning, IFTA, Ivor Novello, and Emmy-nominated composer and music producer whose work spans animation, feature films, trailers, documentaries, television, multimedia, stage, and advertising.
Craig continues to expand his impressive body of work with a series of recent and acclaimed projects. He composed the original score for the Irish feature film Baíte (2025), which won Best Irish Film at the Galway Arts Festival, earning praise for its rich, cinematic soundscape and emotional depth. He also scored the animated feature The Magic Reindeer: Saving Santa’s Sleigh (2024), also known as Niko: Beyond the Northern Lights, which received nominations for both an Irish Film and Television Award (IFTA) and an Animation Ireland Award for Best Original Score.

In the world of video games, Craig co-composed also with his wife Eímear Noone, the score for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 (2025), released in October, bringing his signature blend of orchestral grandeur and atmospheric tension to one of the year’s most highly anticipated titles.
Craig also recently composed and directed the original documentary The Unsinkable Entrepreneur (2025), which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival this year.
These latest works build on a long career of success in film and animation. Alongside his wife, composer Eímear Noone, Craig co-composed the score for Niko: Beyond the Northern Lights (also The Magic Reindeer: Saving Santa’s Sleigh), adding to a portfolio that includes The Canterville Ghost starring Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie, and the Ivor Novello- and Hollywood Music in Media-nominated Two By Two: Overboard!
His past work in animation also includes multiple Disney series, most notably as one of the songwriters for The Little Mermaid television series and as one of the composers for Raw Toonage, which earned an Emmy nomination for Original Composition.
Craig’s film credits span genres, from the psychological drama Maxine (Channel 5, UK) to the family drama It’s Dark Here (starring Illeana Douglas, Bubba Lewis, and William Mapother), the black comedy Get Out If You Can (directed by TJ Martin), and the supernatural thriller Blood Relative (starring Cristin Milioti).
His contribution to more than 140 film trailers includes major Hollywood releases such as J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek, the Harry Potter franchise, James Bond, Sin City, Red, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, Over the Hedge, Spider-Man III, HALO II, and many others. His music has also featured in hundreds of film and television projects including The Office, Fringe, Lost, The Sopranos, The X Factor, and America’s Got Talent.
As a video game composer, Craig’s credits include World of Warcraft and its expansion Warlords of Draenor, which won the Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Video Game Score. His experience in game music dates back to the earliest Dungeons and Dragons titles for TSR Inc.
Craig divides his time between Malibu, California, and Kilconnell, Ireland, where he continues to compose for film, animation, and interactive media, bringing a uniquely cinematic sensibility and emotional intelligence to every project he undertakes.
