Christian Schumann debuts with Philharmonia Orchestra
Christian Schumannmakes his London debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra for a Valentine’s Day Gala on 14 February. The programme features soloist Anna Fedorova playing Rachmaninov’s Piano Concert No.2.
Schumann is rapidly establishing a reputation as an opera and symphonic conductor, as well as a leading international force in the contemporary and film conducting world. Upcoming highlights for Schumann include returns to the Philharmonia Orchestra, Warsaw Philharmonic, Het Gelders Orkest, Brussels Philharmonic and Oslo Philharmonic. He will also debut with Casa Da Musica, Porto and NDR Radiophilharmonie. Other recent successes have included the Copenhagen Phil, Hong Kong Philharmonic and Helsinki Philharmonic orchestras.
