A Christmas Gaiety — the queer orchestral extravaganza devised by Edwin Outwater and drag icon Peaches Christ — receives its UK premiere on 3 December at the Royal Albert Hall.
This camp Christmas party features the BBC Concert Orchestra (conducted by Outwater) along with a star-studded line up of special guests, including the opera-singing, bearded drag-icon Le Gateau Chocolat, stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK series 4 Cheddar Gorgeous and Pixie Polite, Broadway and West End wonder Marisha Wallace, acclaimed organist Anna Lapwood, plus Father Jay Jay Revlon of the UK House of Revlon.
The programme comprises a variety of festive favourites, popular hits and orchestral classics, along with comedy moments and voguing galore.
