Christian Schumann makes his debut performance with Szczecin Philharmonic to conduct Ludovico Euinadi’s Divenire on 25 September at 19:00 (local time) as part of the orchestra’s annual innovative M.D.F. Festival, which this year has the theme of ‘Soundscapes’. Schumann’s performance will be accompanied by stunning visual effects matching Einaudi’s composition and will be streamed LIVE on the Szczecin Philharmonic website.
This performance rounds off a packed September for Schumann, which saw him record the music of criminal thriller TatortNDR Radiophilharmonie, as well as his debut concerts with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, where he conducted Star Wars at the Aarhus Konserthuset. Following the MDF Festival, he will join the Silesian Philharmonic with a programme including Beethoven Missa in C minor and the world premiere of new work of Polish composer Marcel Chyrzyńskinew.
